Enrolled Auxiliary Nurse

Huis De Kuilen, a programme of Badisa, has a vacancy for an Enrolled Auxiliary Nurse. Badisa is a joint initiative of the Dutch Reformed Church (Western Cape) and the URCSA (Cape).
The vacancy is currently available at Huis De Kuilen, located in Kuils River.

The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and have personal indemnity insurance
• Strong leadership and the ability to manage nursing staff
• Good knowledge of the physical, psychological, and medical conditions of elderly persons, as well as the application and management of quality medical care and services for the elderly
• Understanding and control of scheduled medication and its administration
• Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to work shifts (including night shifts)
• A valid police clearance certificate
