What are the minimum admission requirements?
Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care
- English – 3
- Mathematics – 3 or Mathematical literacy – 5
- Life Sciences – 3 or Physical Sciences – 3

Diploma in Emergency Medical Care

Do I qualify for a Bursary/Government funding?
Candidates who reside in the Western Cape are eligible to apply for a bursary through the Department of Health and Wellness.

Does the College of Emergency Care offer accommodation for students?
Yes we do offer accommodation, however rooms are limited. No student shall be allocated accommodation before paying the deposit for resident’s fee.

Once your application has been submitted, the candidate will receive updates via email.

Yes, we are accredited by the Council of Higher Education (CHE)
How much is the tuition fees for the College of Emergency Care?

This includes uniform and HPCSA registration

R39 000 per year

Accommodation is R24 200 for a single room and R17 600 for a double room sharing per academic

How much is the application fee?
The application fee is R250 per application
Can I apply for more than one programme?
Yes you can, you will need to do two applications, one for each programme.
Do I need to apply again if I have previously applied and was not accepted?
Yes you do, You will need to do the application process again.
