Student Resources

Learners will have access to a variety of teaching and learning resources. Traditionally, learning was mostly face to face lectures, and resources were printed books, journals, newspapers and encyclopaedias. Through blended teaching and learning methods, WCCN strives to combine the merits of both traditional and online learning in order to provide learners with a more engaging learning experience that allows for flexibility, remote learning, social learning and global collaboration.

With the emergence of the internet, digital sources of information have become prominent. These digital sources of information include, but not limited to, online libraries and journals, online encyclopaedias, eBooks, Learning management system, printing and photocopying facilities.

Forthcoming, is a student “centre” that will cater to recreational, academic and medical care to all students. The aim is to provide support to learners in their academic and non- academic requirements.

Libraries

The WCCN libraries provides and supports learners, academics and support staff with a significant library collection as well as services that supports academic learning, teaching and research. These include: library orientation of new students and staff, information literacy, research support, training for using emerging technologies in teaching and learning and acquisitions of new library material.
