Graduates Internship Opportunities – Contract ending 31 March 2027

This Programme is the Western Cape Government Health and Wellness initiative that provides unemployed qualified youth, with the opportunity to gain work experience. National government and the department have dedicated each self in providing further development opportunities to support the public in becoming skilled. Applicants will gain skills and knowledge through this programme. In the programme, public bodies from all spheres of government (in terms of their normal mandates and budgets) and the non-sector (which are supported by government incentives) purposefully raise the creation of work opportunities for unemployed and poor people in South Africa through the delivery of public and community services.

Competencies (knowledge/skills):

  • Good interpersonal relations, with colleagues and the public.
  • Computer competency skills.
  • Ability to function in a team.

Requirements:

  • Between the age of 18 – 35.
  • Proof of a qualification document.
  • NQF level 6-9 qualification.

  • Attend interviews on a date and time as determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency
    assessments/proficiency tests

Remuneration

R 8 174,75 to R 9 861,50 stipend per month, depending on the qualification. (NQF level 6 to NQF level 9)
